L'Abattoir: Map & Directions

Capacity and venue features

L’Abattoir offers two private dining rooms of 6000 square feet each. Each room accommodates 24 seated guests or 40 standing. And for larger groups, both rooms can be combined into one large undivided space. Dinner-style seating and standing reception arrangements with furniture are available. We’ve seen the seating possibilities and they are extensive.

The audio-visual setup at the venue has you covered. The space has WiFi, a projector and screen, a microphone, and a sound system. Bring your own music or let L’Abattoir take care of you. They’re brilliant at it.

The restaurant also offers coat check. A must for groups, especially in the winter time so you can avoid the growing pile of coats in the corner of the room.

L’Abattoir’s catering shines.

The French-influenced West Coast dining will stun. The dishes are beautiful and the taste is exquisite. Try the Steak Diane – we still rave about the seared perfection. Head barman Shaun Layton will treat each guest’s cocktail as if it were his only oeuvre that night. And to round out the experience, consider the option of butler-served canapés. To say their attention to detail is exquisite is an understatement.

L’Abattoir offers three-course menus for lunch and dinner.

If nothing else, don’t miss this:

  1. The venue, to make an impression.
  2. Next time you have 20 to 80 guests who appreciate fine food, L’Abattoir is your venue.
  3. If you’re craving Octopus, L’Abattoir is your new hangout.
  4. Period. Word on the street is you haven’t lived till the Avocado Gimlet has hit your tastebuds. Shaun’s got your back in this department.
  5. Refined luxury with Gastown flair.
